How to Share Your Floats
There are several ways to share your Floats with candidates. Choose the method that best fits your outreach strategy and audience size.

Sharing Methods
When to use: For targeted outreach to 1-10 people. Ideal for sharing via LinkedIn messages, Slack, Teams, or SMS.
Steps
- Create the Float
- Click the "Share Float" button
- Select Recipient from the dropdown list or type their email to add a new contact and click Next
- Click "Copy share link" for a selected recipient and paste it into a message to them (e.g., LinkedIn message, SMS)
Tracking
- In your Float details you will see each Recipient that you created a link for
- The Views count shows how many times the recipient has viewed the Float page
- Clicks shows how many times they have clicked "I'm Interested" or "Ask a question" buttons
- In the Activity section and app notifications, you will see how long they viewed the Float for
- If the Recipient is a JobAdder contact, a note will be added to their Notes in JobAdder
Tip: You can add a new contact without knowing their email by adding a placeholder email address. The link will still track any Float views against their name and you can follow up via other contact methods like LinkedIn.
